Lauren & Lachlan's Big Reveal at Al Ru Farm
Lauren booked me a year before her wedding and told me the painting was the thing she was most excited about, a compliment that stayed with me through every brushstroke. Months later, we returned to Al Ru Farm to reveal the finished piece at the very altar where they were married, turning the unveiling into a second, emotional wedding-day moment!
Lauren booked me almost a year before the wedding and told me the painting was the thing she was most excited about second only to marrying Lachlan. Hearing that so early in the planning process made me feel incredibly honoured and trusted with something truly meaningful. Their wedding took place at Al Ru Farm, a venue that honestly felt straight out of a romantic dream. From the moment I arrived I knew this painting would become something very special.
This piece was created slowly and intentionally over months following their wedding. I poured so much care detail and love into every brushstroke refining and perfecting it until it felt completely finished. Lauren and Lachlan were more than happy to wait for the painting to reach that point which meant so much to me as an artist. When a couple truly values the time and craftsmanship behind the work it allows the painting to become the heirloom it is meant to be.
To thank them for that trust and appreciation I organised a special reveal back at Al Ru Farm staging the painting at the exact altar where they had been married. They had not seen a single behind the scenes glimpse so this was a complete surprise. Standing there waiting for them felt like such a big moment. When they saw the painting it was like the whole wedding day came rushing back emotional joyful and magical. The artwork has now found its forever home.
